Lure of the Lusitania by Órfhlaith Ní Chonaill
Órfhlaith Ní Chonaill has just finished her manuscript, Lure of the Lusitania, a literary/historical novel. It is the book that she was born to write. Many years of work and much research have gone in to bring it to a place where she can finally say that she is happy with it. She is currently seeking a publisher.

On 7th May 1915, the Lusitania, a Cunard passenger liner, was torpedoed and sunk by a German U-boat off the south coast of Ireland. 1,201 people (officially 1,198) lost their lives. Órfhlaith Ní Chonaill’s grandfather was Cunard’s Area Manager in Queenstown (now Cobh) where the survivors and the dead were brought ashore. He was later awarded an MBE for his Service to Humanity.

Creative Writing Workshops with Órfhlaith Ní Chonaill
Órfhlaith Ní Chonaill M.Phil (Creative Writing) is withdrawing from Writers' Ink Workshops, in Strandhill, Holy Hill and Strandhill Summerfest, she is available to facilitate occasional workshops. She is taking time out to work on her own writing projects.
Monthly Creative Writing Workshops in Holy Hill Hermitage, Skreen, Co. Sligo, have finished until further notice as Órfhlaith Ní Chonaill is dedicating herself full-time to her own writing.
